Winter's Websentials

Websentials are the essentials of a good website. Now I don't think I'm the best at putting one of these things together but I know enough to have a good sense of what looks good and what works. I know how to make use of well designed templates and backgrounds.

Information and format are the key components of Websentials. A good website has well written information laid out in a format that catches and holds the attention of the viewer.The information must be pertinent to the audience while being written in a style that is creative yet concise. The format makes the information easily assessible in a creative setting that befits the topic and attracts the viewer.

Format is made of up of essential pieces that strung together give the look and feel of the website even without words. These pieces include the colors, templates, style, graphics and images you use on the site. Having an eye for what works best for your site is something you develop the more you experiment with building a webpage.

The links to our sites are all examples of how your style and your knowledge can evolve over the years. Most of these sites are now defunct or out of date but they do show the progression of our skills in the time we've been on the internet. This isn't what we do for a living... this is what we do to enhance our living experience. It's just an expression of our creative forces. We hope you enjoy our little journey into website building.
