February 25 - March 3, 2001

Davecolorado first came to the KNAC chatroom in November 2000. He cites Mendoza, Spyder, The Rack, Alley McSqueal, EvereadyEd, Nasty Neil and Thrasher as the DJs he enjoys most. As for the roomies, he says all of them are cool with him. He has a lot of fun with SheRockz, SIN, Jetmech, beer_man, Winterheart, Popcorn, Serena, Ayla, TekNeck, TsTm77, Roman and Sterling. When it comes to music Dave tells us that A Perfect Circle is one of his faves but Van Halen is his all time favorite. If you're a Van Halen fan you need to check out Dave's website! Of course, being a huge Van Halen fan means that Dave's most memorable concert was a Van Halen concert! "Van Halen III at Fiddler's Green in Denver was awesome. It was my daughter's first concert and Valerie Bertinelli said hello to us. Edward coulda spit on me we were so close and his guitar playing kicked ass!" Dave also cites A Perfect Circle as one of his most memorable concerts because it was the first time a tight band was actually able to convey their feeling to him directly. He says, "It was an erotic journey through time for me." Dave's recent musical purchases include Sammy Hagar 10-13 ("The Red Rocker is much better without Van Halen.") and Fozzy ("Chris Jericho can sing his ass off!") When asked about the funniest thing that ever happened to him in the chatroom Dave had the incident down right to the very day! "It was December 30, 2000 and Thrasher was nekkid in the studio except for the infamous sock. The whole chatroom was grossed out." The funniest moment for Dave was when Spyder came in for his shift and sat in the chair Thrasher had been naked in. Dave says it was priceless! LOL Dave loves the people in the chatroom, the music the KNAC DJs play, the freedom of expression supported by KNAC, the postings of current Rock news, and the interviews. He feels KNAC is the closest thing to his vision of a perfect radio station. "Maybe someday KNAC can bring back true music television with no censorship and start a new TV station called KMTV!"
