Diana with Poison

Diana DeVille, known as KNAC's Radio Goddess, first came to the KNAC Chatroom on the day she started work at KNAC.COM, April 8, 1998. She says the staff at KNAC is great to work with and she could never pick a favorite even if she wanted to. She did say that Mendoza keeps her in stitches and that having a great sense of humor is a great thing to have! Diana, who is a huge favorite with the Roomies, doesn't have favorites there either. She says that all the Roomies are her crazy babies and she appreciates everyone who takes time out of their schedule to spend time in her chatroom when she's on the air.

Musically, Diana likes a lot of bands but says that if she had to list some she'd say Poison, Armored Saint, Dokken, Cinderella, Motley Crue, The Union Underground, Godsmack and Metal Shop. She does admit that this list is merely the tip of the iceberg! Her most memorable concert was on June 13, 2000. It was the kickoff of the Power to the People tour in Hershey, PA with Poison, Cinderella, Dokken and Slaughter. Diana covered the concert for KNAC.COM and literally went through hell to get there (and back)! She had never been to that part of the country and tells us that it was really nice to be there in Pennsylvania watching some of her favorite bands play even though it rained most of the time she was there, including during most of the show! It was at an outside venue, which made it seem as if the concert proceeded in spite of the forces of nature, something that made it all that more memorable for Di. Even though she rarely buys CDs and concert tickets anymore, Diana does admit that she buys 80's stuff for her Wild Side show saying, " Ebay is a dangerous place for me to be!"

Everyone has a favorite story or funny happening from the chatroom and Diana is no exception. She cites the adventures of MMK9_88 and DC_Jackie as they battle Minimmk as her favorite chatroom soap opera. She says she doesn't think she's ever laughed so much except for when when Mendoza's around! She says that it was also pretty funny the time Laidback was dubbed Bun Boy! LOL

Like most of the other DJs, Diana feels she already has her dream job because she really loves what she does! She says that her worst job would be anything in which your individuality is stifled and that has no opportunity for creative expression.

When asked who's been influential in her life the Radio Goddess cites several people starting with her boss, Long Paul. She says he's taught her so much about the business and has given her the opportunity of a lifetime. He's also been a guiding hand in her development as an air personality. Diana also learned a lot from the Leather Nun Tawn Mastrey, from the old KNAC days, saying that Tawn was, and is, one of the first strong female air personalities, shaping Diana's ideal of what a female air personality can be. Diana admires Rob Jones for his sheer determination and ability to create something as huge as KNAC.COM out of nothingness and to keep it ever increasing in strength. On a personal and spiritual level, she admires her best friends Desire and Jo for showing her how to be a stronger and better woman. And finally, she admires C.C. DeVille for his hard work in overcoming his addictions to become the new and improved person he is today. She feels his determination is an inspiration to everyone.
