EvereadyEd and DemolitionGirl are probably one of the best-known couples in the KNAC.COM chatroom. Ed is a DJ who's been with KNAC.COM since Day One "...and I've been stuck there...uhhh, I mean I've been there ever since!" Asking Ed the standard corny questions elicits Ed-like answers that could all be followed with LOL! Like who his fave DJ is, "Me because I am one sexy bitch!" Some of this has rubbed off on Demo too because the same question got this response, "Ed because he's one sexy bitch!" Demo, who first came to the KNAC.COM chatroom in March 1999 when she lived in Bakersfield, does have a couple of fave DJs besides Ed, "Mendoza is another fave. No one can be an ass like Mendoza can. And Diana my saintly sister." Both Ed and Dawn state that they have too many favorite roomies to list. Ed also has a list of roomies he gives a hard time to but that list is long too! Demo does admit to missing a lot of the people who used to grace the chatroom such as JT, Azure5150 and Evil Laurie.

When it comes to music Ed likes too many bands to list and says he's just plays what's requested! Demo on the other hand has no trouble listing her faves, "Like anyone needs to ask! LOL Armored Saint and Anthrax!" They both feel that having the same taste in music has helped their relationship. Ed says,"It also saves her a trip to the chatroom cause I already know what she wants to hear!" Dawn tell us that if it weren't for their similar taste in music they would never have met. On the subject of how they met this couple has basically the same story with a few slight variations. Ed's version is that he met Demo in a club called Fashions back in the KNAC 105.5 days. "She blew me off that night but she doesn't

remember and I met her several years later at a KNAC.COM club night. Needless to say she didn't blow me off that time! LOL Keep in mind, no matter what she says my story is true!" Dawn's version is only slightly different, "Even though Ed says we met when I used to work KNAC nights at Fashions Night Club in Redondo Beach around 1989, for the life of me I don't remember that meeting or blowing him off as he says! I say we officially met in July 1999 at a KNAC.COM night held the Loose Moose Saloon in Anaheim. I drove over five hours to get there because there was a fire on the grapevine and they closed it down. I had to go around through Lancaster but had to keep my promise to LongPaul that I would be there. Ed said right off that he remembered me from Fashions so who knows!"

In August 1999 Ed was assigned the task of starting up the PRP and Demo was recruited to help get it all organized. They spent many hours working together, which helped bring them closer together. After dating for about 2 months they moved in together. They both say (tongue in cheek) that they are living in sin but when you've never had a fight or argument or been mad at each other, how can it be sin? Although Demo says that every day they have the same disagreement about who loves whom more and who is luckier than whom. She thinks she wins both catagories! LOL Demo reveals that basically Ed rescued her from a really bad relationship she was trying to get away from and for that she will always be grateful. They will celebrate their second anniversary on September 29th.

This couple enjoys amusement parks (but think that California Adventure sucks! LOL), love to play air hockey and are avid Kings fans. They adopted a dog they named Napster last August and Demo says Ed loves doing his Napster baaaaaaad impersonation! On the subject of kids, Ed says Demo leads 2 to 0! Demo says she threw Ed straight from Bachelorhood into Fatherhood! LOL Demo has two children from a previous marriage, Kayla who is 9 and Brendan (or B as he's known in the community) is 4. They can only chat one at a time from home because Ed says he's poor and Demo admits the computer is hers! LOL The funniest thing that's ever happened to them in the chatroom involves "The Boot" for both of them. For Ed it's when RobJ boots him and for Demo it was the time Ed booted her by mistake! She also relates the time a newbie was stirring up trouble during Ed's shift and she was logged in as EdsDemolitionGirl. She gave the newbie shit right back and he replied with all kinds of derogatory remarks including that 'Ed' (meaning EdsDemolitionGirl) was prolly a fag. He then quickly said, "I don't mean you EvereadyEd." Ed's reply was, "Yes, you are talking about me since Demo is my girlfriend!" The reply shut down the newbie instantly and he left the chat a short while later without ever saying another word! Demo says she's never seen him return either! LOL

Both Ed and Demo have a similar take on what makes KNAC.COM so special for them. For Ed its because "They pay me to be there! LOL" Demo reiterates that by saying, "They keep a roof over our heads! LOL" She goes on though to say that KNAC has always been special to her. She was involved during the 105.5 days and even after moving out of LA came back every weekend. When the station went off the air, she was in town for it. She found KNAC.COM by accident and was so excited! She was touched that Long Paul and Philthy Phil remembered her from the old days. These days she's happy to do all she can to help keep KNAC.COM as pure rockin as ever!
