KevrockjockUK first came to the KNAC.COM chatroom in 1999. He lives in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, which is basically the center of the UK, about 140 miles north of London. Kev says it's the British equivalent of Iowa, very agricultural and boring. He doesn't live alone but isn't married which puts him in the "living in sin" category. LOL His hobbies include music, flying, cooking and eating, and "... the usual stuff. Nothing too geeky tho!" On the net Kev visits http://www.theprp.com and http://www.rense.com among others. At KNAC.COM he enjoys the shows of Spyder "aka Trampoline Boy", Diana, Frankie, Ally, Ed, and LongPaul. He thinks all of the roomies are entertaining, "You're all fruitloops as much as I am! We all have our mad moments, some more than others!" Kev says it's always funny in chat and sometimes he finds it fun to just sit back and watch the madness continue without any form of input from himself. "Basically, it's a blast!" On the subject of bands, Kev feels that right now he has too many fave bands! What he's currently listening to is Anouk "Dutch hottie vocalist", new Ozzy, new Kittie "It sux", Bush, POD, and pretty much all the new releases. Kev has been a DJ for 14 years, having gotten into rock about 26 years ago. He says he's gone through NWOBHM, Glam, Sleaze, Seattle & Grunge, and Nu-Metal. His CD/LP collection is about 28,000 items and still growing! His long-standing faves though are Stevie Nicks and Tori Amos (old stuff ... Little Earthquakes), Pink Floyd and Supertramp. Kev says that all the concerts he's been to are memorable for some reason but there isn't one that he'd class as the best. When we asked Kev why KNAC.COM was special to him he replied, "KNAC is special to me in two ways. One, I can hang with fellow loonies who, no matter where they are in the world, wanna have fun and listen to kewl music. And two, because I do the same thing as the Jocks and its nice to see and hear others at work and hopefully having a blast too, as I do. Now how many peeps can say that about their jobs?" |
