In honor of Rorschach and DaddysGirl becoming engaged (and because DG has already been a Roomie of the Week), the HOB decided featuring Rors would be appropriate this week. Rors first came to the KNAC.COM chatroom in April 1999. He cites Diana Deville, Spyder, RJStone and Mark Mendoza (Pika!) as his favorite DJs. Asking who his favorite roomies are got us this response from the irrepressible Rors, "They are all my favorites. I don't think of them as roomies but as fans. They come to the chatroom each day waiting for me to come in and are so happy when I show up and let out one of my many catch phrases such as 'Looks like we're out of toner!' and 'Take that, slappy!' I take time to greet my loyal fans and I know in my own special way I've added a little sunshine into their horribly insignificant lives. What? Too controversial? Dammit! Fine, I'll sugar coat it! Yes, they are all super people who fill my life with meaning and love. Especially ColBosch and Davey2 (cuz they're my sexy bitches) and the love of my life, PaulyD. Daddysgirl's nice too *EG*… and dezz, dragonladie, shel and vampi. Damn, there ain't much anybody I DON'T like." We asked Rors the standard HOB questions knowing that he was going to answer them in true Rors fashion. So it was no surprise when he said that the funniest thing that's ever happened to him in the chatroom involved The Bot. "Out of desperation I tried to cyber Now_Playing. I was alone and vulnerable and it seemed so all knowing and wise. It was all a huge misunder-standing and I think the bot didn't sustain any serious injury (Cheesy 70's sitcom laugh.)" LOL Rors' response to the question about his favorite band was: "The guys that did that Muskrat Love song. What was their name? Creed?" In truth, this roomie is a huge Pearl Jam fan who also likes punk. He says his most memorable concert was not in a huge venue with a big headliner. It was actually seeing his friend's band The Timversion at the Punk House in Tampa. "It was a blast! I hung out, drank beer and had a good time without fear of injury or getting my wallet/car/spleen stolen." When asked about his recent music related purchases, Rors cited CDs by Black Label Society and NOFX's Pump up the Valium. "I also purchased tickets to the Jim Varney Memorial Concert starring Dred Zepplin, Hootie and the Blowfish, Kenny Loggins, Anne Murray and headlining Charo." If this little paragraph about Rorschach hasn't told eveyone exactly what kind of guy Rors is, his answer to our last question should. We usually ask Roomie of the Week victims to tell us what they like most about KNAC.com. Rors told us that what he likes most about KNAC.COM is the picture of Diana that pops up in the corner of the chatroom during her shift. He says, "If you turn the monitor brightness down just a bit it looks like a head floating in a featureless void. It keeps me entertained for hours and hours." |
