Beauty and Shadow were friends for about four years before they got together as a couple. They've been a couple for about two and a half years now. Beauty says they got together through the Internet even though they'd known each other in person for years. It all started when they began reading over each other's shoulders as they typed in chatrooms, learning about their hidden sides, things they never spoke of out loud. Beauty & Shadow came to the KNAC chatroom in June 1998 through Winterheart & Trojanmann, who they knew from another chatroom. Shadow's favorite DJs are Diana because she's always

funny and soooo nice, and The Rack because he likes her attitude! Beauty's fave DJs are EvereadyEd because he always plays her requests, Diana because she's so sweet and sent her a Type O Negative CD, AJMotts because he's totally HOT, and LongPaul because of his sense of humor. Beauty and Shadow have many friends in the chatroom. They both list Starrr as one of their fave roomies but Shadow also lists Karensene and SheRockz while Beauty lists Sander, Dirge, JT, Outlaw, Azure5150, Winterheart, Rottn1, ShadowBurro, Dimebagg, Overlord, LAMaryJane, Ratgrrrl, Shelngomer and Trojanmann as among her other faves! Beauty says they are all special to her in their own way! Beauty usually comes in the chatroom during the day while at work and Shadow comes in on occasion in the evenings from home, usually with Beauty at his side! This pure rock couple currently lives in Austin and both are native Texans. Beauty is 34 and has 3 children, a 13-year-old daughter and 7 and 15-year-old sons. Shadow is 36 and has a 17-year-old son. When asked about their favorite bands, they both said they love Type O Negative and Metallica but Shadow also listed Queensrÿche and Kiss while Beauty listed NIN and Whitesnake. Beauty's favorite concert was Whitesnake in 89 and Shadow's was Kiss at Madison Square Gardens when he was only 13! It was his first concert and it made him a Kiss fan for life! Also, they both loved seeing Type O Negative in October 1999 thanks to KNAC!
