Sterling with lilshredder

Sterling first came to the KNAC chatroom in April or May of 1999. She cites Spyder as her favorite DJ because he's a lot of fun, has a whacked sense of humor, is a great guy in person and always plays what she asks for! When asked who her fave roomie was, Sterling had a tough time answering but finally chose Outlaw "...just because he's so f*n NUTS in chat, plus he turned out to be a great great friend." Sterling's favorite bands are Iron Maiden and The Who. She cites Metallica at the Coliseum in 1991 and the return of Bruce Dickinson to Iron Maiden at the Greek last year as her most memorable concerts. At the Greek she didn't sit down once! Sterling says the funniest moment she's had in chat thus far was when she, Outlaw and Spyder were at Winter and Rottn's house one night, playing musical chairs at the computers. No one in the chatroom knew who was really typing! She says, "It was so f*n hilarious because we all typed o 0 (Outlaw is everywhere) from all the nicks. It was total chaos in chat! We had a blast." Sterling feels people come back to the KNAC chat regularly because when KNAC left the airwaves in 95 it left a big hole in the metal community. It wasn't until the chatroom that she again had a core group of metal friends who felt the same way she does about the music. She feels KNAC has a good metal community and is very glad they're back because through them she's met great people like Outlaw, Spyder, Rottn, Winter, lilshredder, axlsgoddess and more!
