The hottest chile around is the Red Savina Habanero Chile, patented by GNS Spices in Walnut, CA. It's purportedly 65 times hotter than a jalapeno. Rottn got a bottle of Melinda's Original Habanero Pepper Sauce at Trader Joe's. The label says that the Habanero chile is between 200,000 and 300,000 Scoville Units! In comparison, the jalapeno measures about 5,000 Scoville Units. If you're interested in trying Melinda's Hot Sauce call 800-886-6354 for information, order by mail from Mo Hotta Mo Betta or check out your local Trader Joe's!
